2/14 The J.O.Y. Group will be hosting a Valentine party for everyone 55 years and older on Tuesday, from 2:30 until 4:30pm. There will be lots of sweets, punch, fun and games with prizes. We look forward to having everyone attend, so please mark your calendar.

A brand new baby boy!!!   William Robert Cranford was born 6:40pm,  Saturday, January 21, 2012; 9 lb. .09 oz.; 19 inches long.  - Mommy, Daddy, Baby and grandparents (including our very own Carol and Bill Cranford) are doing fine!

1/26 REGISTRATION DEADLINE for two 8-week Grief Recovery Programs for MIDDLE SCHOOL OR HIGH SCHOOL AGE beginning on Monday evening, February 6. If you know of young people who need a grief support program, please go to www.joyinthemourningcenter.org and let their families know as soon as possible. Both groups are limited to 10 participants each and require pre-registration. The total cost is $160 (averages $20 per session). There is  limited financial assistance available for those who are truly unable to pay the full price. 1/28  Pam Jackson’s Memorial Service 11:00am with the family receiving immediately following the service in Grace Fellowship Hall – all are invited – please help us get the word out, especially to those without e-mail savvy.

The United Methodist Women will be sponsoring a luncheon and Childrens Fashion Gala on Sunday, March 18, 2011, directly after the Sunday service. We are all looking forward to an exciting fashion show where the children will show off their new Easter attires for everyone to see. The children are encouraged to invite a friend so that they can show off their new Easter clothes. Arrangements for tickets can be discussed with Sandra Love. Parents who wish to have their children "model" their beautiful outfits can contact Penny D'Andrea at 730-2505 or Penny2jillian@yahoo.com. The United Methodist Women will be providing lunch and there will be door prizes. I will be contacting a few woman for help with putting it all together. If you would like to help decorate, cook, make flower arraingements or communicate with the parents, call me!!!!
